News sources brought updates to a fatal drunk driving accident that happened on June 21, 2012 in Midlothian, TX. Police said that John Layton, 46, was initially suspected of driving the wrong way along US-287 at approximately 1:00 a.m. and crashing into 20-year old Alex Elizabeth Ford’s vehicle. Both Layton and Ford were killed in the accident.

After tests were conducted, news sources in Grand Prairie stated that Layton’s blood-alcohol content was at 0.314, which is almost four times more than the legal limit of 0.08% blood-alcohol levels. The accident was investigated by authorities, but no further updates in the case were released as of September 15, 2012.
