Brittany Pierce Killed in Alleged Nacogdoches County, TX Drunk Driving Accident

Officials from the Texas State Troopers have released a statement that has confirmed the identity of the individual killed in a single-vehicle accident in Nacogdoches, TX on Saturday, April 27th, 2013. Police working closely with accident investigation teams currently estimate that Brittany Pierce was killed when the vehicle she occupied turned turned sharply and Pierce was ejected from the vehicle when the door opened for reasons currently under investigation.

According to the report, Brittany Pierce sustained massive injuries in the accident and was consequently transported by emergency response personnel to nearby Nacogdoches Medical Center where she succumbed to the injuries inflicted on her in the accident a short time after her arrival. The driver of the vehicle, identified in the report as Gregg Lazarine currently faces charges of intoxication manslaughter stemming from the accident.
