Brooke Giroux Killed in Suspected Jackman, Maine Alcohol Related Accident

Representatives currently managing the investigation from the Maine Highway Patrol have issued a statement to the public that has confirmed the identity of the individual killed in a road accident in Jackman, ME on Wednesday, July 20th, 2013, according to the Morning Sentinel. Police familiar with the situation currently estimate that Brooke Giroux was killed when the vehicle in which she was a passenger experienced a catastrophic loss of control while navigating the Route 6 cutoff road. The vehicle left the roadway, only to rollover.

According to the statement released by authorities, Brooke Giroux sustained massive injuries in the accident and was subsequently pronounced dead on the scene by emergency response personnel when they arrived. Police currently believe alcohol was a factor in the accident, but have not yet released the findings of toxicology reports.
