UPDATE: Charles Damren Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Leeds, Maine; Alcohol Suspected

Officials from the Maine State Police have released the identity of the individual killed in a single-vehicle accident in Leeds, ME on Sunday, October 20th, 2013, according to the Portland Press Herald. Police currently have reason to believe that Charles Damren was killed when the vehicle he operated suffered a loss of control for reasons currently under investigation while navigating Highway 106.

According to the report released by police, Charles Damren sustained massive injuries in the accident and died as a result. Police are currently working to determine if alcohol was a contributing factor in the accident, but have not yet released the results of toxicology reports that substantiate their position. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
