Eric Garrett Killed in Alleged Sacramento, California Drunk Driving Accident

Officials from the California Highway Patrol have formally identified the 11-year-old boy killed in a single-vehicle accident in Sacramento, CA on Sunday, June 16th, 2013. Police working closely with accident investigators currently have reason to believe that Eric Garrett was killed when the vehicle in which he was a passenger experienced a sudden and catastrophic loss of control for reasons immediately unclear to investigators while navigating the on-ramp to Interstate 80. The vehicle left the roadway, whereupon it rolled.

What this blog is all about:

As a Texas attorney practicing for 20 years, I have litigated all manner of wrongful death cases. I use this blog as a place to write opinion / editorial articles on a variety of topics that catch my interest and as a means of sharing news stories relevant to wrongful death accidents. I think the overwhelming majority of people are unaware just how common these types of accidents are and I hope this blog raises awareness to rather serious public safety concerns. However, this blog is simply a means for me to share my opinions.
