Jane Goodearle Killed in Alleged Arcata, California Drunk Driving Accident

Officials in charge of the investigation from the California State Police have released the identity of the individual charged in connection with a road accident in Arcata, CA on Saturday, September 7th, 2013, according to The Times Standard. Police believe Jane Goodearle was killed when the vehicle she occupied was struck by a car for reasons currently under investigation while navigating Highway 36.

According to the statement released by authorities, Jane Goodearle sustained massive injuries in the accident and was consequently pronounced dead on the scene by emergency response personnel when they arrived. The driver of the offending vehicle has since been identified as Zachary Glascoe, who currently faces drunk driving related charges stemming from the accident. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
