Jimmy Williams Killed By Suspected Intoxicated Driver in Winnsboro, SC

According to local news reports, 16-year old Jimmy Williams was killed on November 18, 2012 after a fatal car accident along I-77 in Winnsboro, SC. Source said that Ricky Deel was driving along I-77 at about 7:00 p.m. near Old River Road when he swerved in his lane and crashed into a Dodge Durango that was carrying 7 people, including Williams.

Williams was killed in the accident and Shannon Henry, a passenger in the Durango, was critically injured along with another passenger who was unnamed. Police said that Deel was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident and charged him with felony DUI involving death and two counts of felony DUI involving great bodily injury. Police also said that Deely was awaiting trial for a previous DUI arrest just two months before this fatal accident.
