UPDATE: Mark Salerno Injured in Alleged Rome, New York Drunk Driving Accident

Representatives from the New York State Police have released the name of the passenger hurt in a one-car accident that happened in Rome, NY on Saturday, October 19th, 2013, according to Syracuse.com. Police working with accident investigators believe Mark Salerno was hurt when the vehicle in which he was a passenger suffered a loss of control while driving down Elmer Hill Road. The vehicle spun off the road before striking a parked car and a private residence.

According to the report released by authorities, Mark Salerno sustained unspecified injuries in the accident and was consequently transported by emergency response personnel to a nearby hospital where an update on his condition was not made immediately available by hospital staff. The driver of the vehicle has since been identified by police as Grace Pirillo, who currently faces drunk driving related charges stemming from the accident.
