One Injured in Suspected Larimer County, Colorado Alcohol Related Boating Accident

Authorities from the Colorado State Police have not yet identified the individual injured in a boating accident on Sunday, June 30th, 2013. Police familiar with details of the investigation believe a 22-year-old male was hurt when he fell off a boat for reasons currently under investigation while navigating the Horsetooth Reservoir.

According to the statement released by authorities, the man sustained massive injuries in the accident and was consequently transported by emergency response personnel to Medical Center of the Rockies where an update on his condition was not made immediately available by hospital staff. Investigators are currently exploring alcohol as a possible factor in the accident. The investigation into the accident remains active and ongoing by personnel from both local and state agencies.
