One Killed in Alleged Phoenix, Arizona Drunk Driving Accident

Authorities in charge of the investigation from the Arizona State Police have issued a statement to the public that does not contain the identity of the individual killed in a car accident in Phoenix, AZ on Tuesday, April 16th, 2013. Police working closely with accident investigators currently estimate that one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they operated was collided with by a vehicle that police believe ran a red light while navigating 35th Avenue.

According to the report, the unidentified individual sustained massive injuries in the accident and was consequently pronounced dead on the scene by emergency response personnel when they arrived. The unidentified driver of the other vehicle currently faces drunk driving related charges stemming from the crash. The investigation into the fatal accident is currently active and ongoing by officials from local and state agencies.
