One Killed in Alleged Pomona, CA Drunk Driving Accident

Authorities from the California State Police have not yet identified the individual killed in a car accident in Pomona, CA on Sunday, April 7th, 2013. Police and accident investigators currently suspect one unidentified female was killed when the vehicle in which she was a passenger suffered a possible loss of control or mechanical failure as they navigated North San Antonio Ave. The vehicle rolled as a result of the accident.

According to the report, the 19-year-old woman sustained massive injuries in the accident and was subsequently pronounced dead on the scene by emergency response personnel when they arrived. The driver of the vehicle, identified in the report as Raelene Martinez currently faces drunk driving charges stemming from the crash. The investigation into the fatal accident is currently active and ongoing by authorities from local and state agencies.
