Two Injured in Alleged Aberdeen, Washington Drunk Driving Accident

Officials from the Washington State Police have not yet identified the individuals that were injured in a single-vehicle accident in Aberdeen, WA on Saturday, June 8th, 2013. Police believe two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the vehicle they occupied experienced a sudden and violent loss of control for reasons currently under investigation while navigating Highway 101. The vehicle left the roadway whereupon it overturned a number of times.

According to the statement released by authorities, two people sustained unspecified injuries in the accident and were subsequently transported by emergency response personnel to a nearby hospital where updates on their condition were not made immediately available by hospital staff. Authorities currently have reason to believe that alcohol was a factor in the accident, but have not yet released the results of toxicology reports that would substantiate their suspicions. The investigation into the accident remains active and ongoing.
